Mound Systems

A Mound Septic System is a great alternate to the conventional drainage fields or leach fields used in most septic systems today.

In instances where the soil conditions of a drainage field site are not conducive to wastewater treatment and draining, a mound system could be the right choice.

As the name implies, this type of septic system treats wastewater using mounds of soil above while conventional leach areas rely on the soils beneath the surface to treat the wastewater.

Mound systems are generally more expensive than conventional septic systems because of the extra time digging.
